A Contemporary Café Defined by Colour, Form & Character
Eataboo Café in Gandhipuram, Coimbatore is a contemporary café project designed by H11 Architecture & Interiors, where bold colours, playful geometry and functional planning come together to create a distinctive customer experience.
The design is built around a strong blue and terracotta colour palette, balanced with warm neutrals, dark stone surfaces and patterned flooring. The vibrant blue frames and arches become a defining visual element, extending seamlessly from the façade into the interiors and creating a consistent design identity throughout the café.
A Bold Architectural Identity
The façade is designed to immediately capture attention within the busy urban streetscape of Gandhipuram. Curved arches, blue framing elements, terracotta-toned textured surfaces and cascading greenery create a contemporary yet welcoming street presence.
Large glazed openings visually connect the café with the street, while the layered façade treatment gives the relatively compact commercial space a strong architectural character.
The illuminated Eataboo signage, warm façade lighting and lush hanging plants add to the café's identity, particularly during the evening.
Interiors Designed Around Experience
Inside, the same visual language continues through arched openings, blue detailing, textured walls and patterned tiles. The interiors combine contemporary furniture with a carefully selected palette to create an atmosphere that is youthful, energetic and comfortable.
Translucent blue chairs, simple dark tables and warm terracotta accents provide a playful contrast against the neutral walls and decorative flooring. Carefully positioned lighting enhances the textures and colours while maintaining a warm and inviting ambience.
Design That Creates a Memorable Brand
Rather than treating the café purely as a functional food-and-beverage space, the design creates a recognisable visual identity for Eataboo.
The repetition of arches, colours, textures and greenery creates continuity between the exterior and interior, allowing the architecture itself to become part of the brand experience.
